🌙 Triple Moon. Triple Goddess. Maiden, Mother, Crone. The waxing, full and waning moon symbolizes the cycle of life, the phases of womanhood and the Triple Goddess. Interpretation and beliefs vary from one practice to another. It is often seen as a symbol of the divine feminine.
🌒 The glass used in this piece is unique. The front shows a sparkly gold with an ornate pattern. When lit from the back, it can look very grey and a bit drab. I’d recommend this piece as a wall hanging, but do what thou wilt!
🌝 Each piece of glass is cut by hand, any flanges removed with a glass grinder. Each individual piece of glass is then wrapped in copper foil and lead came. It is then soldered together with 60/40 solder. After cleaning it is treated with a black patina to darken the solder beads and then waxed and buffed to a high shine. It is strung with fine black jewelry chain, ready to hang. These triple moons measure approximately 7” x 3”
✨ Each stained glass item is handmade, and therefor each piece is unique. Art glass has imperfection and “seeds”, which add to the beauty and light play so loved in stained glass. Please handle with care and keep out of reach of children.
