💙 This dark blue/teal stained glass feather is a perfect accent for anywhere in your home. The glass used for this feather is a lovely slate blue or almost turquoise depending on the light. It has a delicate subtle texture which when reflected, makes the loveliest patterns on the wall!
💚 Each piece of glass is cut by hand, any flanges smoothed down with a glass grinder, each individual piece of glass wrapped in copper foil then soldered together. A black patina is applied to the solder seams and is then waxed and buffed to a high shine. There’s a hanger attached and strung with black hemp twine. It measure 7” tall and 2” (ish) wide.
♟ Each stained glass item is handmade, and therefor each piece is unique. Art glass has imperfection and “seeds”, which add to the beauty and light play so loved in stained glass. Please handle with care and keep out of reach of children.
