For the bog witch in all of us. A wee stained glass mushroom in tones of purples. These cuties measure about 2 3/4” x 4 1/2”
Each piece of glass is cut by hand, any flanges removed with a glass grinder. Each individual piece of glass is then wrapped in copper foil, wrapped in lead came and soldered together with 60/40 solder. A black patina is applied to the lead and solder. After cleaning it is waxed and buffed to a high shine. It is strung with black hemp twine and ready to hang.
Each stained glass item is handmade, and therefor each piece is unique. Art glass has imperfection and “seeds”, which add to the beauty and light play so loved in stained glass. Please handle with care and keep out of reach of children.
