A simple moon in transition. Lux iridescent glass makes these pieces a subtle but stunning accent for your home decor.
Each piece of glass is cut by hand, any flanges removed with a glass grinder. Each individual piece of glass is then wrapped in copper foil and lead came. It is then soldered together with 60/40 solder. After cleaning it is treated with a black patina to darken the solder beads and then waxed and buffed to a high shine. It is strung with black hemp twine, ready to hang. These moons measure 3 1/2”
Each stained glass item is handmade, and therefor each piece is unique. Art glass has imperfection and “seeds”, which add to the beauty and light play so loved in stained glass. Please handle with care and keep out of reach of children.
