🫀 The biggest bloodiest anatomical heart - what could be more romantic? These beasts are made with multiple glass types, and they vary each time I make them. These beasts would look stunning hanging in a window or as part of a feature wall.
❤️ Each piece of glass is cut by hand, any flanges removed with a glass grinder. Each individual piece of glass is then wrapped in copper foil, and soldered together with 60/40 solder. This large piece is completely bordered with lead came for a clean looking finish and for added strength. After cleaning, a black patina is applied to the solder seams. It is then waxed and buffed to a high shine. It is strung with a gunmetal grey jewelry chain, ready to hang. This piece measures approximately 10" x 15”
✨ Each stained glass item is handmade, and therefor each piece is unique. Art glass has imperfection and “seeds”, which add to the beauty and light play so loved in stained glass. Please handle with care and keep out of reach of children.
