This piece explores the impressive grammatical elasticity of a single four letter word. It’s meaning is fluid, determined entirely by tone, context and circumstance. By isolating the word, all intent is removed and responsibility of its meaning is assigned to you, the viewer. This work rests on the conclusion that one word can be enough.
This fuck measures 13 1/4” x 7”
Each piece of glass is cut by hand, any flanges removed with a glass grinder. Each individual piece of glass is then wrapped in copper foil, then soldered together with 60/40 solder. This panel is framed in copper channel to provide strength. After cleaning and the solder beads darkened with patina, it is waxed and buffed to a high shine. This panel comes with long chain attached to adjust to your desired length. As with all my work, I'd recommend securing your hanging hardware into a wood frame, above your vinyl window frame or a simple nail on a wall. Please don’t use suction cups! They *will* fail.
Each stained glass item is handmade, and therefor each piece is unique. Art glass has imperfection and “seeds”, which add to the beauty and light play so loved in stained glass. Please handle with care and keep out of reach of children.
