💎 A stained glass crystal made with iridescent glass. This glass is a dark red/purple/magenta depending on the light. One side is iridescent. This crystal measures 7" tall and 3" wide at the widest point. It would look beautiful hanging on a gallery wall or in a window for a dramatic effect.
🌙 Each piece of glass is cut by hand, any flanges removed with a glass grinder. Each individual piece of glass is then wrapped in copper foil, and soldered together with 60/40 solder. After cleaning, a black patina is applied to the solder seams. It is then waxed and buffed to a high shine. It is strung with black hemp twine, ready to hang.
✨ Each stained glass item is handmade, and therefor each piece is unique. Art glass has imperfection and “seeds”, which add to the beauty and light play so loved in stained glass. Please handle with care and keep out of reach of children.
