š· Spooky decor that works any time of year, these stained glass cobwebs are made of white and wispy textured glass with bits of white iridescent highlights. The iridescent bits create an "oil slick" effect, depending on the angle of viewing and the light available. They measure 8" across and 8" tall. Please note: the pieces in the photos may not be the exact piece you receive.Ā
šø Each piece of glass is cut by hand, any flanges removed with a glass grinder. Each individual piece of glass is then wrapped in copper foil, then soldered together with 60/40 solder. The sides are reenforced with copper channel to provide strength. After cleaned and the solder beads darkened with patina, it is waxed and buffed to a high shine. This piece features some decorative soldering for added depth and interest. There are two hooks on one side to hang in a window corner or anywhere you'd like to add a creepy but beautiful bit of sparkle.
š¤ Each stained glass item is handmade, and therefor each piece is unique. Art glass has imperfection and āseedsā, which add to the beauty and light play so loved in stained glass. Please handle with care and keep out of reach of children.
