🔪 Hi-diddly-ho murderinos! Fuck politeness with this statement art piece, a gentle reminder to Stay Sexy, Don't Get Murdered. I am in no way affiliated with Karen & Georgia of My Favorite Murder (I wish!), just a big fan.
🩸 These knives are 11” long and 2” tall, made with black & red art glass and custom acid etched mirror. The mirror has been treated with sealant to discourage decay, and the back has been painted black. The entire knife has been wrapped in least came then soldered for extra strength and stability. Each piece of glass is hand cut, wrapped with copper foil, soldered together with 60/40 solder and finished with black patina and wax. A delicate blood red glass chandelier jewel hangs from the tip of these knives. "Rivets" on the knife handle are hand painted. They are hung with fine jewelry chain and ready to be displayed.
💀 Each stained glass item is handmade, and therefor each piece is unique. Art glass has imperfection and “seeds”, which add to the beauty and light play so loved in stained glass. Please handle with care and keep out of reach of children.
