🧡 This honeycomb cluster is difficult to capture the beauty of in just a few photos. The variation in texture and shades of ambers make these beauties absolutely sing in the natural light. They're a perfect addition to your garden decor, a hint of colour to a bare window, a tasteful addition to a greenhouse or nursery, or simply hung on the wall. Each hexagon cell measures 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" and the entire cluster measures approximately 12" wide and 7" tall.
🍯 Each piece of glass is cut by hand, any flanges removed with a glass grinder. Each individual piece of glass is then wrapped in copper foil, then soldered together with 60/40 solder. After cleaned and the solder beads darkened with patina, it is waxed and buffed to a high shine. It is strung with black hemp twine and ready to hang.
🐝 Each suncatcher is handmade, and therefor each piece is unique. Art glass has imperfection and “seeds”, which add to the beauty and light play so loved in stained glass. Please handle with care and keep out of reach of children.
